Poland's Dry Spell Against Netherlands Continues

Twelve Matches Without a Win

Poland's recent struggles against Netherlands continued on Thursday as they played to a 0-0 draw in their Euro 2024 Group D match. The result leaves Poland winless in their last 12 meetings with the Dutch in all competitions dating back to 2012.

Poland's best chance to break the deadlock came in the first half when Robert Lewandowski had a shot saved by Netherlands goalkeeper Tim Krul. The Dutch also had their chances, but they were unable to find the back of the net.

The draw leaves Poland in third place in Group D with one point from two matches. They will need to beat Belgium in their final group match and hope for Netherlands to lose to Italy if they want to qualify for the knockout stages.

Netherlands Extend Dominance

The draw also extends Netherlands' dominance over Poland. The Dutch have now won five of their last six meetings with the Poles, including a 2-0 victory in the Nations League last year.

Netherlands will look to continue their unbeaten run against Poland when the two teams meet again in the UEFA Nations League in September.
